Effective date: July 9, 2026 · Last updated: July 9, 2026

At a glance

  • Personal, revocable license — you may use TermLite on the Apple devices you own or control.
  • Optional Premium subscription — auto-renewing monthly (US$4.99) or yearly (US$39.99), billed by Apple.
  • Cancel anytime — manage or cancel in your App Store account settings.
  • Your data stays local — see the Privacy Policy for how TermLite handles data.
  • Provided “as is” — you are responsible for the servers you connect to.

1. Acceptance of these terms

By downloading, installing, or using TermLite (“the app”, “we”, or “us”), you agree to these Terms of Use, which form an end user license agreement (EULA) between you and TermLite. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

Because TermLite is distributed through the Apple App Store, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and its terms are incorporated by reference. Where these terms and Apple’s standard EULA conflict, Apple’s standard EULA controls.

2. License

Subject to these terms, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use TermLite on Apple-branded devices that you own or control, as permitted by the App Store Usage Rules in the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions.

3. Subscriptions and purchases

TermLite offers an optional Premium auto-renewable subscription. Core SSH functionality is available without a subscription; Premium unlocks additional features.

Prices are shown in the app in your local currency and may vary by region and by Apple’s pricing. Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase.

Auto-renewal. The subscription renews automatically unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple Account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your App Store account settings after purchase. Any unused portion of a free trial, if offered, is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple under the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions. We do not receive your payment card details.

4. Acceptable use

TermLite connects directly from your device to servers you configure. You are solely responsible for the hosts, credentials, and commands you use, and for having authorization to access any server you connect to. You must not use the app to gain unauthorized access to systems, to disrupt services, or for any unlawful purpose.

5. Your content and data

TermLite stores hosts, credentials, private keys, snippets, and settings locally on your device. We do not operate servers that receive this data. You are responsible for maintaining backups of anything you export. See the Privacy Policy for details.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure against every threat.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TermLite and its developer will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or business, arising out of or related to your use of the app — including data loss on servers you connect to. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

8. Third-party services and servers

Servers and services you connect to are governed by their own terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party systems, their availability, or their handling of your data.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms of Use when the app or legal requirements change. The “Last updated” date above will reflect the revision. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

10. Termination

This license remains in effect until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach these terms. You may terminate it at any time by deleting the app. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (disclaimers, liability limits, and governing terms) will survive.
